Conditions on the sea are varying all the time – check the situation right now!

Is the sea level currently higher than usually? Is there algal blooms in the waters nearby? What does the Baltic sea looks like when viewed from satellite images? How many ships are sailing at the sea and what’s their destination. This and much more can be found in the Baltic Sea Now section!

Wave buoys are lifted out of the water for the winter season, so wave height observations are not always available. The algae bloom and visibility depth meters are based on satellite observations and data from these meters is only obtained during the summer season.
